LOVE Revolution:::Day 1.

little things mean alot:::

What little things can we do? Jesus washed feet and said we would be blessed and happy if we would follow His example. Here are some of the practical, day to day things that we can do and should do for one another.

: watch over one another
: pray for one another
: be mindful to be a blessing
: look for kindnesses we can express to others
: be friendly and hospitable
: be patient with one another
: bear with others' faults and weaknesses
: give others the benefit of the doubt
: forgive one another
: comfort one another
: be faithful
: be loyal
: build one another up
: be happy for people when they are blessed
: consider one another
: keep people's secrets and don't tell their faults
: believe the best for each other

these are things we can DO. love is often thought of as a noun, but love is also a verb. it's an act of doing and being. BE LOVE. DO LOVE. don't just talk about it. words are cheap and so often thrown around...but the act of Love...now, that is sometimes costly.

deposit something [good] into someone's life today. go check on the neighbor that seems to be having a rough time in life. go visit the widow that you know needs company. stop and smile at the cashier that works so hard to pay the rent, and ask her how her life is going. leave the waitress an extra few dollars and tell her that she did a great job. all these little things become big things. Jesus said, "when you do this unto the least of these, you do it unto Me."

i want to be apart of something greater than myself. i want to be part of the revolution. the [LOVE] Revolution.

grow in love.

ephesians 4:14-16 (the message)

...no prolonged infancies among us, please. We'll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors. God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love—like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love."

my favorite time of year.

fall in arkansas.

it's fall (my favorite time of year) and i was back in arkansas this past weekend with family. jon brooks, alex grace, my dad, and i all spent our day saturday out in the woods 4 wheeler riding. jon brooks and my dad are getting ready for deer season. haha, i love to watch them get excited about it. jon brooks is only 5, and he calls me everyday counting down the days to opening, when he gets to sit on the deerstand with my dad.
