on this saturday.

i woke up this morning with a hopeful feeling in my heart. beams of light shot through my window and got me up out of bed. i always like that better than hearing the annoying siren of an alarm clock. there's not much i have "planned out" for the day, and that's good for me. a trip to walmart, some reading and studying, and maybe a movie tonight are the only things on my "to do" list, and im excited about that. i need days that don't have an agenda. there aren't many of those in my life right now, and time needs to be made for more. the sabbath day.

i finally got dan and vickers pictures to them this past week. vickers called yesterday, and they loved them (which is something i always love to hear). shooting weddings is a whole new ballgame for me...being one of the most momentous days in a person's life, i always feel a little anxious. creative juices flow better when i'm relaxed, so that's been a little bit of a challenge.

here is a verse i read this morning and am reflecting on today. maybe you will like it, too. the Word of God is life to me. it goes into places and brings what i need, even in areas i don't know are void. im so glad God is huge, and He knows me better than i know myself. how amazing is it that He longs to meet with us each day, and His mercies are new every morning? GREAT is His faithfulness. He will chase you and i until the day He comes to get us or the day He takes us home to be with Him. I am so thankful for that.

Oh, the depth of the riches of Your wisdom and knowledge, O God! How unsearchable Your judgements, and Your paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of You, Lord? Or who has been Your counselor? Who has ever given to You, God, that You should repay him? For from You and through You and to You are all things. To You be the glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36

the same Power than conquered the grave lives in me.
